Working with Schools

KMBRC has worked with schools ever since it's inception in 2003. We have had the pleasure of helping young people to learn more about recording the wildlife that they might see in their school grounds, local park or back garden, supported teachers to develop school nature gardens and provided short workshops in schools on everything from wildlife friendly gardening and making bird feeders to learning map reading and grid referencing skills.  We have also previously run a very successful series of evening workshops for teachers wanting to learn more about how they can incorporate wildlife recording into their own lesson planning in line with current national curriculum structures.

If you are a teacher wanting to know more about wildlife recording or would like some support to incorporate learning about wildlife species and habitats into your lesson planning then please do contact us either by phone or via the button below to request an information pack.
