Kent & Medway Biological Records Centre (KMBRC) collects, collates and shares information, about the county's species and habitats.
This data informs planning decisions as well as conservation, education and research projects.
Our small team boasts higher degree level and industry standard qualifications in scientific research, ecology and database management. We are also members of professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM). The Centre itself has long-standing fully accredited status under the Association of Local Environmental Records Centres (ALERC) accreditation scheme.
