Kent and Medway Biological Records Centre

Support We Offer

Introduction

An important function of the Records Centre is to provide technical support and assistance to the recording community in the Kent. To achieve this it has been proposed to put the technical resources of the Records Centre at the disposal of the recording groups in the county.

The support we offer can come in may different guises, but having the technology and the expertise here means we can help most groups fulfill their aims and objectives. Local Recording Groups can ask for information from the KMBRC and we will provide it free of charge if it is to inform that groups' activities, conservation or habitat management, providing there is no commercial gain for that group or individual.

All of the support the Records Centre offers is designed to improve record collection, accuracy and display. All we as in return is that you supply your records to the BRC once the project is complete.

The Kent and Medway Biological Records Centre also has a grant scheme for for local conservation organisations and recording groups.
