The McClintock Library

The Records Centre were fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Kent Field Club to create a library of ID guides and other relevant literature here at the Records Centre. The Library was named the McClintock library after David McClintock, a well-regarded botanist and Field Club member.

The library is always growing and houses a variety of books from basic field guides to more specific species' keys and checklists, along with a variety of other related literature. We also have a range of historic books and periodicals.

These books are available for anyone to use during our office hours, (Monday-Friday 9am - 5:30pm).

Please contact us if you're planning to come and use them as we can sometimes be short of space.
