Dr. Hannah Cook

Records Centre Manager

In addition to the day to day management of the Records Centre, Hannah spends her time forging and maintaining links with the local recording community, and building relationships with local government and businesses. She develops partnerships with other organisations and is always looking to secure new avenues of funding, in order to maintain the high quality of service the KMBRC achieves.

Dave Giffen

Infrastructure Manager

Dave is responsible for the provision and maintenance of the IT systems. He has a wide experience in the Information Systems of Local Government and manufacturing.

Teresa Frost

Data Manager

Teresa is responsible for responding to data enquiries and works with Dave in developing and maintaining data storage, retrieval and reporting products. Her background is in statistical ecology, particularly long-term biodiversity monitoring schemes.

Judith Church

Project Officer

Judith is contracted by Buglife (The Invertebrate Conservation Trust) to work on the "All of a Buzz in the Thames Gateway" project. This project involves the identification and collation of information on brownfield sites and invertebrates throughout the Thames Gateway area. As well as working in Kent this project will involve forging links in London and Essex. Judith has worked for a number of organisations, mainly on botanical projects, including the production of Red Data Books for lower plants.

Ann Watts

Support Officer

Ann joined KMBRC as a volunteer 4 years ago inputting data onto Recorder. She is now developing material to involve children, families & schools in biological recording.


Tony Witts

Support Officer

Tony started volunteering at the KMBRC in 2007 and now works at producing the reports and maps for the enquiry requests we receive. He is a keen birdwatcher and an amateur entymologist.
